Dog
As the dog excitedly chased after a cat, its head got trapped in the silencer.
A dog chasing a cat found itself in an unusual predicament when its head got stuck in the silencer of a car. The Nirbhay Foundation rescue team arrived quickly to help, feeling a mix of fear and sadness for the trapped animal.
Initially, they attempted to free the dog by hand, but it was unsuccessful. Realizing they needed to remove the silencer, they sought the car owner’s cooperation. With the owner’s help and careful use of tools, the silencer was safely removed.
Once freed, the dog shook itself off and ran across the street, wagging its tail happily. Though it didn’t stay for a check-up, its wagging tail reassured the team that it was relieved and unharmed.
Shortly after, the Nirbhay Foundation received another call—this time about an injured dog from a road accident. The dog, scared and in pain, was examined by a vet who confirmed that while its spine was unharmed, it had a leg injury.
The rescue team decided to keep the dog for treatment. After a few days of care and rest, the dog began putting weight on its injured leg, showing encouraging signs of recovery.
