Dog caught on camera dragging bed toward sick brother

Jill is the owner of two sweet dogs Spanky and Roman the duo became friends on the first sight and now are inseparable.

“From the day we brought Spanky home he was infatuated with Roman,” The North Jersey dog mom said.

“He bonded with him so tightly and does not like to be far from him.”

If Spanky has to stay home without Roman he will cry until they get reunited.

After Roman got an ear infection Jill immediately sent him to the vet and there they learned the sad news their sweet dog had a haematoma.

While waiting for the surgery poor Roman was experiencing terrible pain, but Spanky took the matter on his hands to help his bestie.

Jill was letting the sick dog to rest and set up a camera so she could keep an eye on him, she had no idea that the camera would capture a moment of tenderness she had never witnessed before from Spanky.

“Spanky is not normally gentle,” Jill said. “He is like a big moose but when Roman wasn’t feeling good, he was so gentle with him. He didn’t try to rough house or play with him like normal.”

Camera even caught Spanky dragging their dog bed towards his best friend so he didn’t have to move and then he started snuggling next to him to comfort him.

Jill said she was so surprised seeing how kind was Spanky towards his brother: “[I] watched it a million times! It was just so wholesome and melted my heart,” she said, as per UNILAD.

It was such a sweet video that Jill had to share for everyone to see.

Her post attracted many comments just after a few hours: “This is amazing!!! Not all people are capable of this level of compassion and empathy. What sweet boys! They are really special.”

While another added: “I always say people could learn a lot watching dogs practice compassion”

Roman passed his surgery successfully and is now back to his old playful self.

I’m sure he has a lot of fun with his brother now.
