A call came to Mount Laurel Police Department an injured pup who was struggling in an isolated industrial area in NJ.

Fortunately, one officer directly went to scene and was able rescue the dog who had a very bad wound on its head. The pup was then taken for the necessary first aid at the Burlington County Animal Shelter.

The department reached out to the public hoping to locate the dogโ€™s family as he did not have an ID or microchip. It turned out that the dog was homeless as no one turned up.

So, when Matthew Oโ€™Hanlon, an officer, knew that, he directly came forward to adopt the 3-month-old pup.

Thor, the pup, is having a great life with Matthew, who has always had love for pitbulls. Matthew said that he will let Thor forget his battered past by giving him the life he deserves. How adorable! Watch the video below.
