In the chill of December 2023, our hearts were stirred by the sight of little Mochi, a lone wanderer amidst the bustling streets. Her tiny frame, fragile and forlorn, bore witness to the harsh realities of life on the streets of Bali. As we followed her timid footsteps, our hearts sank at the realization that Mochi had no home to call her own. Like countless other dogs in Bali, she was a victim of neglect and abandonment, her once pristine fur now matted and bare, her body marred by the scars of her struggle for survival.

At just six weeks old, Mochi was ill-equipped to navigate the dangers of the streets. With no shelter to shield her from the elements and no food source but the scraps of garbage, her future hung precariously in the balance. But fate had other plans for Mochi. With hearts full of compassion, we scooped her up and brought her to safety, determined to give her the second chance at life that she so rightfully deserved.

From the moment she arrived in our care, Mochi became the center of our attention. With round-the-clock care and unwavering dedication, we embarked on a journey to nurse her back to health, addressing each of her ailments with the care and expertise she deserved.

Despite the odds stacked against her, Mochi’s indomitable spirit shone through, her resilience serving as a beacon of hope amidst the darkness that threatened to engulf her. With each passing day, we watched in awe as she blossomed before our eyes, her transformation nothing short of miraculous.

Today, Mochi stands as a testament to the power of love and compassion. Her once frail body now radiates with vitality, her spirit unbroken by the hardships she has endured. And as she prepares for her vaccinations and sterilization, we are filled with hope for the bright future that awaits her.
