Man Quits His Job In Order To Travel And Rescue Dogs From Shelters Through The Country

Lee Asher’s journey from a childhood surrounded by rescued animals in Los Angeles to his role as a dedicated rescuer today is both inspiring and heartwarming. With a deep-seated compassion for animals from a young age, Asher found his purpose in life through rescuing and caring for those in need.

Spending his formative years at local shelters solidified Asher’s commitment to animal welfare. He understood early on that his mission would be to rescue and find loving homes for animals abandoned or in distress.

Today, Asher shares his home with an impressive family of seven dogs—Yaffa, Molly, Cali, BoBo, Butters, Haven, and Lillie—and two cats, Whiskey and Goose. Each one has their own story of rescue and renewal, now thriving under Asher’s loving care.
