Stray Dog Stops Live Street Performance To Comfort An Actor He Thinks Is Injured

One particular scene required Numan Erugrul Uzunsoy, one of the actors, to fall from his horse and simulate an injury. Little did he know that a stray dog, who had never seen him before, would come to his rescue.

As Uzunsoy lay on the street, performing the scene, the stray dog noticed him and immediately grew concerned. Without hesitation, the dog approached him, wagging its tail, sniffing his head, and offering gentle licks and cuddles. Despite not having a home of his own, the dog was moved by compassion and felt compelled to provide comfort to the actor in distress.

Uzunsoy recalled the touching moment, saying, “The character I played was injured and in great pain. He’d fallen off a horse and was breathing hard.” With his eyes closed during the performance, he initially thought it was his fellow actor approaching him. But when he realized it was a compassionate dog showing him kindness, he was deeply touched by the unexpected gesture.

“I felt warmth on my face. First, I thought my co-star was approaching me,” Uzunsoy explained. “I was very happy when I felt the dog’s kisses. I was very touched. He was like an angel who wanted to help me. It was a very emotional moment for me. I was not expecting it.”

Although the dog eventually left the performance after receiving thanks and belly rubs, Uzunsoy was determined to find him again and provide the loving home he deserved. This heartwarming encounter serves as a reminder of the incredible empathy and compassion that dogs possess, even in the most unexpected circumstances.
