Most of us buy collars for our dogs – we use them when we take our dogs out on walks, or we attach a name tag to them, in case our dog gets lost.

You will have to buy your puppy a new collar as it gets older because they will outgrow it and the collar will eventually be too tight.

Nancy’s former owners did get her a collar, they put a piece of string around her neck, and never took it off.

It was slowly going to choke Nancy to d.e.a.t.h.

But before it did, the string had caused her head to swell. Luckily, Nancy was found by the amazing people at Animal Aid Unlimited, located in Udaipur, Rajasthan, India.

Once back at the sanctuary, the string was removed, and Nancy was on the road to recovery.

Now free of the string, Nancy is one happy and thankful pup! Share away, people.
