This is Jordan!! His family tied him up and hid him in their yard for many years. The short metal chain did not allow him to move more than two feet away.
He sleeps among trash and broken bottles, and when fed is always old bread and leftover bones. Over the years, depression, poor nutrition and dirty living conditions weakened his immune system and allowed the terrible infection to spread.
Now, Jordan can barely walk or stand because of it. It appeared to be bone cancer, but was never treated.
This type of cancer occurred due to severe injuries and people reported seeing him brutally beaten. They said its owner was often drunk and always beat it.
Jordan was taken urgently for necessary tests and blood tests. The foot needed to be amputated urgently. Jordan’s X-rays confirmed Osteosarcoma (bone cancer).
Despite the local doctor’s opinion, we decided not to give up hope. The good news is that a hospital in Türkiye has agreed to save Jordan.

The bad news is that a new tumor was found near his chest area. Doctors believe that removing this tumor and his leg plus chemotherapy will resolve the problem for good. Jordan’s amputation surgery was successful.
In a week or two, Jordan will begin chemotherapy. His appetite is back and he enjoys our meals. Jordan is on his feet, buoyant and happier than ever! The necklace, then the tumor, weighed Jordan down for too long.
He was finally able to move freely. Jordan is currently living in the hospital. He has begun chemotherapy and will continue to be closely monitored.
He is doing very well. We all love you Jordan. We continue to wish him a speedy recovery and long life.
