We received a request for help for this puppy. His home was a torn-up cardboard box, with some dirty clothes inside to keep him warm. It seemed someone had left him there on purpose. The place was a filthy dump, and the puppy had been eating garbage for days. When he saw me standing there, he quickly ran over. I noticed his belly was very swollen.
The entire way to the vet, the puppy remained silent, not knowing what to expect. The doctors conducted all the necessary tests, and he cried a lot because of a stomachache. His eyes were festering and painful due to the harsh living conditions, which carried many pathogens. The doctors didn’t want to miss any tests, so our little boy was admitted to the hospital.
Fortunately, his appetite was still good. He eagerly ate the soft food from my hand, probably the first decent meal he had in a long time. Afterward, he fell into a peaceful sleep, dreaming sweetly. His stomach was full of worms and garbage, and the doctors tried to find the safest way to remove them without surgery. Thankfully, they succeeded, though his stomach still hurt a bit. The doctor assured me that his condition would stabilize soon.
At just two months old, it was easy for Bublik to adapt to his new life. His new owner loved and cared for him. For the first time, he had toys to play with, like a small ball that brought him endless joy. The love he received from his new family was transformative. They taught him little tricks and were surprised by how smart he was, able to remember and follow instructions after just a few attempts.
Love gave this puppy the strength to overcome his hardships. After a while, he was completely healed. His eyes recovered, and he was ready for a new chapter in life. Thank you for accompanying Bublik on this journey.
