Puppy Hops On 2 Legs After Accident, Showing Happiness Knows No Bounds!

This puppy was innocently playing when a vehicle ran over his legs and changed his life forever. His cries of agony broke our hearts, but we resolved to do our best to save him.

It became clear that to save him, we would need to amputate the most severely damaged leg. Unfortunately, his other front leg was also badly injured and unable to bear any weight.

The surgery went well, and this bright-eyed sweetheart literally leapt into his new life. However, he didn’t have three legs left—only his two hind legs were unaffected. We’ve named him Joey, and Joey has been welcomed as a permanent member of the Animal Aid family. He shows us every day that love knows no bounds, and neither does play!

Joey’s resilience and joy have been an inspiration. Despite his injuries, he adapted quickly, using his hind legs to move around with surprising agility. His spirit remained unbroken, and his playful nature shone through, bringing smiles to everyone at Animal Aid.

Joey’s journey from a helpless, injured puppy to a vibrant, loving member of our family has been a testament to the power of compassion and the remarkable will to live. His story reminds us daily that with love and care, even the most broken beings can thrive and find happiness.
