Left In The Middle Of The Road By Its Owner, The Dog Collapsed And Kept Convulsing

Today, we came across this poor dog on the road. Everyone who saw the animal’s condition was scared and stayed away. The poor dog seemed to be sick and in a lot of pain. It continuously twitched on the ground, writhing miserably. Its mouth constantly gagging, making tired sounds.

It couldn’t even control urination. The fur was also covered with dirty fleas. Looking at its helpless face, trying to call for help but no one helped. I feel so sad and sorry for the animal.

Decided to bring him to the veterinary hospital for a checkup. But what happened next completely shocked us. Lying on the examination table, the dog still kept convulsing. The dog is also very painful and tired. But there’s no way to stop. The doctor said that the animal was about two to three years old. His ears were full of ticks and his whole body was full of lice and jumping bugs. Maybe it wandered around until it found us.

From the blood test results, the doctor said that his seizures cannot be cured. Symptoms can only be alleviated and must stay with them throughout life. The reason is because the animal had been injured before and was not treated promptly.

Plus, he unfortunately got dog fever so much that his nerves were damaged. It is impossible to control the entire central nervous system. Currently, there is still no effective treatment. Medication can only help temporarily stabilize the dog and reduce the frequency of seizures.

But we don’t regret adopting him at all. The rescue team will always accompany the dog on its arduous journey of treatment. We will try our best to do everything we can for him.
