He Acted Like He Loved His Dog At The Vet Visit, But Became A Monster Outside

When Michael Maiorano took his beautiful black Labrador Retriever, Jetta, to the vet for an appointment, nothing seemed out of the ordinary.

However, several staff members at the vet’s office, including a licensed veterinary technician and a veterinary assistant, reported seeing a horrific act of animal abuse outside.

Instead of loving on his dog, petting her, or telling her what a good girl she was, Maiorano turned into a complete monster in the parking lot.

Staffers and witnesses say they watched the man punch poor Jetta with a closed fist several times both outside the vet hospital and again when she was in his car.

Witnesses said the punching was “excessive, uncontrolled, and horrific,” and they immediately called for help before Maiorano could do further damage to the helpless dog.

No one knows why the man would hit an innocent animal over and over, but he now faces up to one year in prison and/or a $1,000 fine on the charges, which are considered misdemeanors.

He was charged with offenses of “overdriving, torturing and injuring animals as a result of the alleged crime. Anyone who witnesses animal abuse or cruelty or suspects someone of hurting an animal should always come forward.
