When it’s bathtime for most dogs, pet parents often struggle. For the large percentage of doggos, bathtime is not a fun time. For one Golden Retriever making his rounds on social media, bathtime is pure nirvana.
The video was first posted to Instagram and features the most relaxed Golden Retriever laying on his back in a tub. As a person scrubs his belly and coat with a bath brush, the pooch is totally in a state of zen.
He is so chilled out and enjoying every stroke of the brush that he closes his eyes and lets the worries of the day slip away.
To prove how calm the pup is during bath time, the human picks up his paw and yet the pooch never reacts. Why would he flinch when he is having a spa moment?
As of this writing, the video has close to 8,000 likes. A lot of dog parents will want to know how to get their own pups to be this chill for bathtime.

Dog trainer Stephanie Maldonado heard from her uncle about an opossum litter lying in the backyard of his home. The opossum mother was killed by a bigger animal, rendering her newborn babies orphaned. The little babies were yet to open their eyes, so Stephanie brought them home and began nursing them with a bottle.
Opossum babies usually don’t survive without their mama, as they are supposed to stay in their mother’s pouch for the first 3 months of their life. When Stephanie’s empathetic dog, Pretinha, sensed that the opossum litter was in trouble, she immediately volunteered to be their adoptive mama!
Pretinha let the opossum babies latch on to her back and licked and kissed the babies till they sprung back to life! Thanks to the warmth provided by her fur, the babies have begun growing up normally and are out of danger. These days, the sweet pooch even takes her foster babies on piggyback rides around the neighborhood!
While the opossum babies have grown to become very possessive of their doggie mama, Stephanie hopes to release them back into the wild once they are old enough. Despite a rough start in life, this opossum litter is indeed lucky to have found the noble Pretinha as their guardian angel!
