Puppy Who Couldn’t Walk Learns To Walk Again, As Puppy Mill Raid Rescues 295 Dogs

The Humane Society of the United States conducted a puppy mill raid which resulted in the rescue of 295 dogs trapped in inhumane breeding conditions. Among them was a tiny pup named Daniel.

Daniel touched the hearts of the rescuers. He couldn’t walk with his front legs due to severe malnourishment. Despite his bad condition, the moment he saw the rescuers, he began crawling towards them.

The rescuers immediately picked him up and took him under their care. It didn’t take much time for Daniel to feel safe and well-fed again. Within two weeks he began using his front legs again!

Thanks to this amazing team, Daniel not only walks today, but he sprints around like any happy dog! What an amazing moment!

He has been adopted by a loving family in Blue Springs, Missouri. We hope all puppy mills get closed down and pups like Daniel find happy homes to live their lives.

There seems to be a special bond between mail carriers and dogs everywhere. You can just tell it’s a bright spot in the day for the both of them.

Just imagine as a mailman getting to greet and pet dogs every day while on the job! Sounds pretty perfect. And from a dog’s point of view, it’s probably only second to their owners coming home each day.

And when one of these moments is captured on camera? It’s even more special. Posted to Reddit by user MJNau, this surveillance footage shows the mailman delivering a package to the front door. But he doesn’t just turn around and leave.

After setting the package down, he waits for a brief moment and then the dogs come running outside to say hello! You can tell this is a daily occurrence. It looks as if the mailman even talks to them for a bit before moving on with his day. Too sweet!
