Sweet Dog Hilariously Fake Limps Out Of Compassion For Owner

Every now and then our dear pets show us just how caring and kind hearted they can be, more so, than certain individuals. Let me introduce you to Bill. A hailing from London who has been mirroring his owners limp out of empathy.

Recently Russell Jones, the owner shared a heartwarming yet amusing video on Facebook capturing Bill mimicking his injured owners gait as they walked together. The video quickly garnered over 11k likes and 26k shares in a few days.

Bill, the lurcher from London has demonstrated empathy compared to some people.

In the clip Russell is seen walking with his leg in a plaster cast while Bill walks alongside him with one paw raised off the ground to match his owners limp. In the post description Russell humorously mentions that despite spending £300 on vet fees and X rays there was nothing, with Bill; he was simply showing sympathy. “Love him ” Russell affectionately added.

This devoted dog has been faithfully imitating his owners limp as an act of compassion.

Non human primates such, as monkeys and apes are known to mimic others within their groups.

Dogs on the hand not imitate fellow dogs but also mirror human behavior. It’s quite remarkable that they do so when theres no benefit to them as mentioned on Cesar’s Way website.

The pet owner ended up spending $400 on bills and X rays only to discover that there was actually nothing medically wrong with their dog.

Why do our furry companions mimic our actions? Experts believe that this behavior in dogs developed over thousands of years through breeding and training eventually becoming a response.
