Dogs are known to be man’s best friend, but unfortunately, not all dogs have the privilege of having a loving home and family. In many parts of the world, dogs are left to fend for themselves on the streets, often struggling to survive. 

The Northeast Animal Rescue organization is one of the man
y groups dedicated to helping these animals in need. Their tireless efforts have saved countless lives, including Steel, a homeless puppy found foraging for food near the railroad tracks.

Steel was just a few weeks old when he was found, scared and alone, looking for food in the garbage. It was clear that he had been abandoned by his mother and left to fend for himself.
