It’s a sad reality that animal abandonment is a common occurrence in many areas, and our community is no exception. Many people choose not to neuter their pets and instead opt to separate puppies from their mothers and leave them to fend for themselves.

But for us, we can’t turn a blind eye to these helpless animals. We’ll always do what we can to help.

One of the dogs we recently rescued was a puppy we named Lucky. He was found wandering the streets, malnourished and covered in fleas and ticks. We took him in, gave him a warm bath, and treated him for his parasites. He was shy at first, but eventually warmed up to us and became a playful and energetic puppy.

Another dog we rescued was a senior dog named Maroula. She had a broken leg and was found on the side of the road, likely hit by a car. We rushed her to the vet and they discovered she also had arthritis in her legs. We gave her the care she needed and helped her recover from her injuries. She’s now living with us and we’re looking for a loving home where she can live out her golden years.

We also rescued a female dog we named Frinda. She was found in a terrible state, likely hit by a car and left to suffer alone. Her injuries were severe, with a broken leg, a broken pelvis, and internal bleeding. The vet didn’t give us much hope, but we refused to give up on her. We gave her the medical attention she needed, and now she’s on the road to recovery. We’re hoping to find her a forever home where she can be loved and cared for.

Animal rescue is a cause close to our hearts. We know that we can’t save every animal, but we’re committed to doing what we can. Our hope is that through our efforts, we can raise awareness about the importance of spaying and neutering pets, and inspire others to take action when they see an animal in need. We believe that every animal deserves a chance at a happy and healthy life, and we’ll continue to do our part to make that a reality.
