Such a heartwarming reunion. The Humane Society of Chittenden County was happy witness two old friends reuniting after two long years apart.
They described the reunion as follows:
โRottweiler Bella came to the Humane Society of Chittenden County because her owners could not afford an expensive surgery to repair her torn CCL.
A local veterinarian generously offered to do her surgery for free โ and we made her available for adoption so she could recover from surgery in a home.โ
They didnโt know it at the time, but that action would soon come to the attention of a woman who recognized Bella. The woman named Jenn immediately called the animal shelter. The humane society explained:
โLast weekend, we got a call from a woman who said she thought Bella was her dog, whom she had lost in the process of a messy divorce two years ago and had been missing ever since. Today, Jenn came by to see if Bella was actually her dog โฆโ
Needless to say both dog and owner were overwhelmed with emotion when they saw each other!
Jenn wipes away tears and Bella canโt keep still circling and snuggling with Jenn and the moment was captured on video.
Bella just canโt believe her eyes and keeps staring up at Jenn adoringly, wanting cuddles and pets.
Itโs clear from the videos the two are so relieved to have found each other again after so long apart โ such a heartwarming reunion.
